In the name of God Amen I Thomas Beasley of the County of Culpeper, State of Virginia, being sick and weak and body, but of sound mind and disposing memory, I'm calling to mind, the uncertainty of human life, and being desirous to dispose of such worldly estate as it has pleased God to bless me with, do hearby make my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say.
In the first place, I'd give and be pleased to my wife Mary Beasley all my real and personal estate, during her natural life and after her death I give the same to my respective children Juliet Ann Miskell, William Alpheus Beazley, Eliza Jane Wall, Samuel Beazley, Thomas W. Beazley and Parthenius G. Stubblefield wife of John W. Stubblefield, to be equally divided among them, and to be enjoyed by them forever.
Secondly, I desire my servant girl Mary Jane at the death of my wife Mary Beazley to be valued and given to my daughter Parthenia G. Stubblefield as a part of her portion of my estate together with the increase of the said girl Mary Jane forever.
Thirdly, I desire the portion belonging to my two daughters Julia Ann Miskell and Eliza Jane Wall to be given at their death to their children. I furthermore will and bequeath to my son Samuel Beazley on account of his affliction $100 over and above the portion of my other children. I also give it to my wife the sole power of disposing of such portion of my real or personal estate as she made deem proper for the liquidation of any just debts I may owe at my death should it be necessary. And lastly I hearby constitute and appoint my wife Mary executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other or former wills and testaments made by me. In writing whereof I have hereunto fixed my hand & seal this third day of June one thousand eight hundred & fifty.

Codicil 1st
I desire it to be understood that that portion of my estate which I have given in the will above to my son Thomas W. Beazley, I now give to his wife Annie Beasley & children. Should he die without issue, I then desire his portion to be equally divided between the brothers and sisters of the said Thomas W. Beazley, who may be living at this time. As witness my hand & seal this the 23 August 1852.
