Will first day of March 1815 William Beasley 1826 to Elizabeth Beasley Spotsylvania County
This indenture made the first day of March 1815 between William Beazley acting executor of Ephraim Beazley dec'd of the one part and Elizabeth Beasley of the other part.
Whereas the said Ephraim Beasley dec'd by his last will and testament in writing dated the seventh day of December 1798. Amongst other things, directed his executors, after the death of his wife Winnie, to sell his estate both real and personal, and whereas, at the sale of the estate of said Ephraim Beazley dec'd, the above named Elizabeth became the purchaser of 147 acres of land for the sum of five hundred and fourteen dollars & fifty cents.
Now this indenture witnesses that the said William Beazley executor as a foresaid in consideration of the sum five hundred and fourteen dollars & fifty cents to him in hand paid by the set of Elizabeth Beazley, at or before the unsealing and delivery of these presents (the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged) have bargained and sold and by these presents. Bargain and sell unto the said Elizabeth her heirs and assigns forever, the above mentioned 147 acres of land, lying in Spotsylvania County, and bounded as follows, to wit,
Beginning at the fork of Hams and Genny's bridges roads, thence down the several courses of the last named road to a red oak on the southside, corner to Thomas McKinney, thence 23 3/4 W. 268 poles to the said McKinney's corner at the end of a ditch on the north side of Stony Run, thence up the meanders of the said run to a small bridge at Ham bridge road thence with the several courses of the said road to the beginning. Together with all improvements, woods, ways, watercourses, profits and advantages whatsoever, to the said tract or parcel of land when belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto the said Elizabeth Beazley her heirs and assigns forever, to and for the only proven use and unk of her the said Elizabeth Beazley her heirs and assigns forever, and the said William Beazley exec'r as aforesaid, by virtue of the power vested in him by the will of the said Ephraim Beazley dec'd, the tract of land here and before mentioned, with all and singular its purchases, unto the said Elizabeth Beazley her heirs and assigns from and against the claims or claims of all persons whatsoever, shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said William Beasley exec'r aforesaid hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first before written.

Spotsylvania Court, March the 6th, 1815. This deed for land from William Beazley executor of Ephraim Beazley deceased to Elizabeth Beazley was proved by the oaths of Henry Beazley Charles Beazley and John McKinney witnesses thereto and is ordered to be recorded.
