[4164] According to Celesta (Backhaus) Kudek, Daniel died from a ruptured appendix. Also, according to Celesta, Daniel was a veterinarian.

[11421] Bertha, Lena and Katherine, the three daughters of Henry & PhilippinaBremser, dated three Habeck brothers. Lena dated and married OttoHabeck, Bertha dated and married Louis Habeck, Sr. and Katherine datedPaul Habeck. Paul Habeck worked on the railroad and one day he waskilled while working. This is the story that was told to Donald Habeckfrom his Grandma Bertha. Katherine then dated and married Daniel Scheid. When Katherine died, her daughter, Anna sewed a real pretty flannelnightgown for her mother to wear under her dress in the coffin so thatshe wouldn't get cold nights. This was a tradition in those days.

[10791] Charles and Erna were married in Zion Church.

[11378] There was a picture taken on Confirmation day in 1907 but we do not havea copy of it and so far the church does not have a copy of it either.
