[11384] When Lloyd and Carmen married they bought the Backhaus homestead farmfrom his parents, William and Anna Backhaus. After Lloyd divorced, hestayed living on this farm until his death inn 1995. He served in the Air Force (member of the U.S. Air Force #376 Bomb Groupcalled "The Liberators".)during World War Ii and then was employed byEast Central Breeders (now known as Select Sire) of Waupun, retiring in1985. He was also a farmer in the Kewaskum area his entire life.
